Will you join me on my quest to live the best life possible? As someone who has constantly been on the go, chasing after the next best thing, trying to climb the ladder of success and so focused on being perfect along the way, I am exhausted. No wonder we live in a world where everyone is stressed, anxious, depressed, and worried about their self-image. We live in a society that pushes us to the brink and we have become zombies just going through the motions of life, but missing out on actually living life to the fullest.
As someone who has struggled with anxiety and depression for many years, I know exactly how you feel! Life is hard and messy and sometimes just so overwhelming you want to curl up into a ball and cry. I have been there! But I have learned to get up, take a deep breath, and keep moving forward. Over the years I have learned some incredible habits and self-care tips that have changed my life. I am still learning every day trying my best, I still struggle from time to time, but I now have a tool box filled with coping mechanisms to help me get through any situation. And I am not talking about putting on that fake smile and pretending everything is perfect. I am talking about really feeling your best and living the life you dreamed.
Mental health and wellness are critical in living a productive fulfilling life. It is time we lose the mental health stigma and open the doors to living happy, fulfilling lives! I tend to describe myself as a “helper” and I want to help you move past your stress, anxiety, depression and negative self-image to live the life you are meant to live!
I have a very diverse background of experiences that has positioned me perfectly for helping others. I am a former special educator, MBA graduate, event manager and author of the book “Thirty by 30: How to Plan the Perfect Wedding.” I also have experience in the non-profit sector and always looking for ways to help others flourish. I currently live in South Florida with my boyfriend, Konrad, and try to treat every day as an opportunity to be better than I was before. I am no longer striving for perfection, just progress. My mantra is “What can I do today to move me one step closer to my goal?” What is one small step you could take today to get you closer to living the life you always dreamed?
